01 Mar Dewey kicks up its heels at Winter Gala
The Dewey Beach Winter Gala was held at The Baycenter in Dewey Beach Feb. 20. The gala raises funds for public safety in Dewey Beach, the lifeguards and police department. Funds raised will go toward purchasing much-needed equipment for these departments in Dewey. The event was sponsored by the Dewey Beach Business Partnership. Featured at the gala were four bands, multiple specialty bars and food stations from Dewey Beach restaurants.
