Eleven teams representing local bars and restaurants competed in the Dewey Business Partnership’s annual Canoe Races July 14 at the bayside beach between the Lighthouse and Rusty Rudder.

Paradise Grill took home the gold, earning a free tiki cruise from Cruisin’ Tikis and merchandise from the event sponsors.

The Starboard Claw placed second. 

The nine other teams, each composed of two women and two men, included The Starboard, Rusty Rudder, Lighthouse, Salt Air, Dockside, Obie’s, Mango’s, Woody’s and Sirocco.
