The Town of Dewey Beach said goodbye to summer with its annual end-of-season beach party Sept. 19, hosted by the Dewey Business Partnership.

About 2,500 people attended, according to DBP Executive Director Kellyann Palladino.

The evening featured food, drinks, an energetic live performance by Bryen O’Boyle and his band, Just The Tip, and a drone show, which was new this year.

During the event, town officials presented a $15,000 check donation to the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company on stage.
